How accurate is the color extraction?
Pixel-perfect. We sample the exact pixel you click on the canvas, then convert to all color formats using standard algorithms.
Can I extract a full palette from an image?
Yes — beyond single-pixel picking, the tool automatically extracts dominant colors from your image using k-means clustering.
What color formats are supported?
HEX (web), RGB (screen), HSL (design), and CMYK (print). All values are calculated in real-time as you pick colors.
Does it work with transparent PNGs?
Yes. Transparent areas are shown with a checkerboard pattern, and the alpha value is preserved in the color output.
